The High School Choir provides students with opportunities to perform a diverse repertoire representing a wide range of musical styles, including Latin, Classical (Baroque, Romantic, and Twentieth Century), Folk, Spirituals, Classic Broadway, Patriotic, and Sacred literature. 

New students participate in a brief vocal audition for voice placement and part assignment. Previous choral experience and advanced music-reading skills are not required; however, students should demonstrate the ability to sing on pitch and a willingness to learn. Membership is at the discretion of the director.

Students are encouraged to grow in vocal technique, musicianship, and ensemble performance while developing leadership and teamwork skills. Through the year, qualified students may be invited to participate in small vocal ensembles for additional performance opportunities.
