Not by might, nor by power, but by My spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

Quality Music Education

Woodridge Music Academy offers quality music education to home school families in the Central Indiana area. We are a faith-based music academy that desires to teach students to enjoy music and develop their God-given talents and abilities to be used in their homes, schools, and local churches. The instruction and musical experience offered by Woodridge Music Academy provides students a broader educational experience, while also developing the student musically, socially, and spiritually.

Founder & Director
 Lauri Wood

Woodridge Music Academy was founded by Lauri Wood in 2007 as a choral component to the Central Indiana Home School Band. In 2013, the choir became a separate music academy with an enrollment of over 100 students.

Join WMA

Our year runs from late August thru the end of May, with weekly classes and rehearsals in Martinsville, IN, where we prepare for periodic performances at community events, annual fine arts competition, and two concerts open to the community. Our monthly, quarterly and semester tuition packages are designed to meet your needs.

Competition Opportunity

Each spring the academy hosts the WMA Fine Arts Competition, a full-day competition and festival to allow students to display their God-given talents and to compete with other students in music and fine arts. Home school students and students in grades 3-12 who attend schools that do not participate in any other competition are eligible. Art categories are also available for grades 1-12.
