High School Handbells (also called, hand chimes) is for 7th-12th grade students. Music reading is a prerequisite for membership. Students learn the importance of ensemble playing, keeping a steady tempo, and team work. This choir performs at concerts, competition, and community events. Consistent attendance is a requirement to be a member. Enrollment is limited in this group. Additional students will be used as “understudies” so rehearsals may continue uninterrupted.
